Whilst making a purchase online, you can make a donation to charity at the same time without it costing any more. This service is provided through an internet company called Give or Take. When you buy anything online from associated stores, which include: Amazon, Currys, Laura Ashley, Marks and Spencer, Miss Selfridge and Next, the companies will give a percentage of what you spend to the charity of your choice.
Your actual purchases are made directly on the secure checkout of your chosen store so it is just as safe as shopping directly with them. The price you pay will be exactly the same as it would otherwise. The stores are making a contribution out of their profit margins.
The process is simple. Go to the Give or Take website at www.giveortake.com Click Here
and click on the getting started tutorial button. This will guide you through the registration process. Give or Take just need your name, e-mail address and password if you choose to make a donation to charity. At the point where it asks whether you want to Give or Take, click on "give". At the next stage, please choose the International charity category and then click on Thare Machi Education.Once the registration is complete, you click the link from the Give or Take website to the store of your choice and make your purchases in the usual way. Every time you want to buy anything online, go onto the Give or Take website and check whether your chosen store is there or browse by category. Get into the Give or Take habit!
Give or Take is a Member of the Institute of Fundraising. It does not charge you or the charities any fees if you decide to give.
